For the booster compressor, KCI perfomed the concept selection, FEED and detailed engineering and associated utilities (cooling system a.o.) which was installed on the A/12 Central Processing Platform (CPP). The booster compressor allowed the platform to preserve production levels in the face of rapidly decreasing pressures of the seven tied-in gas wells (shallow reservoir), and also to boost the pressure of tied-in satellite platforms on the A and B blocks.
KCI prepared not only the engineering and procurement packages, but also the initial cost estimates, project planning, HSE studies, installation design, expediting and construction support.
