Project Manager Topside Foundations and Decommisioning

What’s it all about?
As Project Manager your key responsibility will be to manage medium and large sized multidisciplinary renewable projects for both the offshore green hydrogen market and the offshore substation market for the wind industry.  

What will you do as a Project Manager?
As a Project Manager you will manage the project successfully within planning and budget, and according contract achieving optimal financial results and maximum satisfaction of our clients.

You manage the complete project execution and you will manage the relationship with all internal and external stakeholders and monitor the consistency with the project plan. Depending on the case, you will be involved during the tender phase to give the right input and advise on optimisations and risks. You will be the focal point of the project and the main contact towards the client. You will monitor all project requirements and changes and will be responsible for all contractual issues and commercial opportunities.

You will be actively involved in current offshore EPC partnerships, and the crucial part that KCI plays in these projects and tenders for multi-disciplinary EPC(I) green hydrogen projects.

You have strong communication skills to effectively work with all stakeholders within the project, and communicate on Management and Board level. You have organisational talent and are able to take on multiple tasks and work with challenging deadlines. You have leadership skills and based on those skills you can motivate and inspire team members. You are capable to manage complex projects and you are eager to participate in the emerging offshore markets of Topside foundations and Decommissioning.

What else is required for the job?
KCI the engineers considers it important for this position that you bring the following:

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Engineering;
  • 5 years experience in project management, preferably in the offshore industry;
  • Having EPC(I) project management experience is a strong pre;
  • Project cost control management skills and experience with ERP software;
  • Experience with Primavera (P6) software is a strong pre;
  • Working experience in projects above € 0.25 million contract sum preferred;
  • Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities for project delivery;
  • Demonstrated project success track records;
  • Excellent planning and negotiating skills;
  • Good knowledge of English and preferably also Dutch (both written and verbal);
